Road Closure
Maple Leaf Construction will be laying the second lift of asphalt on Thompson Drive from Goldeye Crescent to the west side of Beaver Crescent on Wednesday, October 14. This section of Thompson Drive will be closed to all traffic starting at 7 a.m. and will remain closed until the end of day. Obey signs and the directions of flaggers. Access to Westwood Mall from Thompson Drive and Westwood Drive will remain open. (NOTE: THE WESTWOOD MALL PARKING LOT IS NOT A THOROUGHFARE) This section of road will be opened once the appropriate curing time has passed. The length of time needed for curing is affected by external temperatures. Keep the closure in mind when planning driving routes and avoid this area when possible. Pay attention to speed limits on alternate routes as children may be playing or walking to and from school in these areas.
