My name is Deanna Kondakor, and I am the City of Thompson's Human Resources Manager that I have held since 2006.  On a daily basis, you can find me interviewing candidates, advertising jobs, dealing with Labour Relations issues, working with our Union partners and administering the City’s benefits programs.

We have many career paths at the City of Thompson, and we require team-oriented, skilled and motivated employees for work in a variety of departments and disciplines. We work hard to serve the citizens of Thompson, and our Employees are our biggest asset!

    Please be advised that garbage pickup for the Burntwood area will be delayed today. Please leave your garbage at the curbside until it is collected.   • STREET SWEEPING STARTS MAY 2, 2016

    Please be advised that on Monday May 2, 2016, we will commence street sweeping starting with all priority one areas, followed by the residential areas. We will provide updates notifying residents which areas we are working in. Please drive with caution when travelling in these areas.   • HYDRANT REPAIR - ROTARY SPLASH PARK AREA, APRIL 26, 2016

    Please be advised we are repairing a fire hydrant at the Rotary Splash Park today. This will not cause water disruption in the area. For the safety of our crews and the public, we will be closing the road in front of the Rotary Splash Park on Deerwood Drive and Caribou Road.

    The repairs are completed and water has been restored.
