UPDATE ON CAPITAL PROJECTS AND PAVING OPERATIONS, September 8, 2017

Water Main Renewal - Deerwood

Pipe installation and service connections are complete on Beaver Crescent, Churchill Drive, Waterloo Avenue and along Mystery lake Road. Restoration work will begin this week on Beaver Crescent, after which it will be carried out on Churchill Drive and Waterloo Avenue. This includes the preparation of the road base and the laying of asphalt. Residents should expect intermittent road closures and inconveniences as work progresses.

Paving - Selkirk Drive and Princeton Multi-use Path

Crews are currently laying asphalt on Selkirk Drive, and will be finished soon. Brick-laying on sidewalks is also in progress. Multi-use paths constructed this year are also being paved, and ramps at intersections will be installed during the process. Curb works along the concrete sidewalk beside Thompson Drive North are in progress and will be completed today.
